Story Gap Studio

Approach

The process starts before the camera.

It doesn't end at delivery.

Most brand film briefs start with a feeling. A vibe. A reference reel.

Ours start with a question: what is the true story this brand has never told?

The answer shapes not just the film — but every asset that comes from it.

01

Storyfinding

Discovery is where most productions cut corners. We don't. Through deep conversations with founders, employees, and customers, we surface what sits just beneath the obvious — the moments, tensions, and truths that make a brand genuinely worth watching.

02

Keywords

We define five story keywords — the words that capture what's most true, differentiated, and compelling about your brand. They become the filter every creative decision runs through. If a shot, a line, or an edit doesn't serve them, it doesn't make the film.

03

Storyboards

A film is only as strong as the people in it. We identify who carries the story and build a plot structure around them — one engineered to hold attention from the first frame to the last. Emotion moves people to act. We design for both.

04

Film

Once the story is clear, we write the narrative treatment before we write a shot list. Every frame earns its place. We shoot small and deliberate — the way you shoot when the story is the priority.
